The journey
Arrange pickup at an address in Rome or the surrounding area, or at Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport. Tell us where you are staying and when you would like to leave, along with your passenger and luggage requirements.
The route heads south before reaching the Sorrento peninsula. Traffic on the approach to the peninsula can affect the journey. We assess departure and expected arrival around your addresses and plans, allowing a margin for any onward connection.
What to see
In Sorrento, stroll around Piazza Tasso, discover the inlaid wood workshops and enjoy views across the bay from the terraces. Marina Piccola is the port for connections to Capri; check sailing times and availability with the ferry operator.
Massa Lubrense and other towns on the peninsula offer further places to explore. Positano and Amalfi, on the Amalfi Coast, can be part of a separate outing. Your transfer from Rome and any later excursions should each be specified in your request.
How the service works
The fare is quoted individually, based on your pickup and drop-off addresses, date, vehicle and itinerary. If access to your accommodation is restricted, we agree where the car can stop and whether the final part needs to be covered on foot.
In the request form, choose “Other address (specify below)” as your destination and enter Sorrento or your accommodation address. Use the notes for optional stops, waiting time or a return journey. These are agreed in advance and set out in your quote.
Who it suits
The service suits families with children, couples and groups who want to travel together with their luggage. It can also provide a connection from Fiumicino or Ciampino after a flight.
A private car can be useful when your accommodation requires a further journey from the station, or when you would like to visit somewhere along the way. Tell us about mobility needs and luggage before confirming the vehicle.

Can we stop at Pompeii or elsewhere on the way?
You can request a stop at Pompeii or another place along the route. Add it to the notes: the route, time for the visit and driver’s waiting time must be agreed in the quote. Stops are not automatically included.
Can the driver take us to the Amalfi Coast or the port for Capri?
You can request a transfer to Sorrento’s port or a journey to Positano and Amalfi. Tell us the destination, date and plans so we can quote for that service. The sea crossing to Capri is separate from the chauffeur service.
Which vehicle do we need for our passengers and luggage?
The choice depends on who is travelling and the luggage you are bringing. Saloons and minivans are available. Include the passenger count, suitcases and any requirements for children so we can propose a suitable arrangement.
