The fleet in Rome: five categories of chauffeur-driven car
From the Economy+ sedan to the flagship Executive, with the Minivan for up to eight passengers and the zero-emission Electric in between. For each category you will find seats, luggage, reference models and how it is priced, so you can choose the right vehicle before you book.
The five vehicle categories
Each category has its reference models and a maximum number of passengers. Economy+ and Business are sedans for up to three passengers, a Toyota Auris and a Mercedes E-Class respectively; the Electric, a zero-emission Tesla Model Y, carries the same number; the Minivan, a Mercedes V-Class, seats up to eight; the Executive is the flagship sedan, a Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series, and is always on request.

Which category to choose
Start with two numbers: how many people are travelling and how many large suitcases you are bringing. These are the details the booking form uses to show only the compatible categories; Economy+, Business, Electric and Executive all seat the same number, so the choice between those comes afterwards. The cards summarise the criteria; the list below sets out the rules the form applies.
Passengers
Up to three people travel in Economy+, Business, Electric or Executive. From the fourth passenger onwards the category is the Minivan, which seats up to eight.
Luggage
Economy+, Business and Electric carry up to two large suitcases, and in the Economy+ at most one piece of hand luggage per person. Beyond two suitcases you need the Minivan, which takes six or more; for the Executive the capacity is confirmed with your quote.
Sedans and Electric
Seats and luggage being equal, what changes is the sedan: Economy+, Business or, on request, the flagship Executive. If you would rather travel zero-emission, choose the Electric, which also seats up to three.
Groups
Above eight passengers, several vehicles are combined in a single request and the form proposes the combination for the number of people you enter. For the Executive, write to us.
- More than three passengers: the Minivan is required and is the only category the form offers.
- More than two large suitcases: the Minivan is required here too.
- Economy+: at most one piece of hand luggage per person, on top of up to two large suitcases.
- More than eight people: several vehicles in a single request (nine people = one Minivan and one car; twenty people = three Minivans).
- Executive: not part of the automatic group builder; for several executive sedans, write to us.
Fares by vehicle category
The published fares by category cover the five transfer routes between the centre of Rome, Fiumicino and Ciampino airports and the port of Civitavecchia, for Economy+, Business, Minivan and Electric. They are per vehicle, not per passenger, the same in both directions and confirmed in the form before any payment.

The Executive has no published fare and is always on request, as stated in the request form. For the eight Italian routes with a fixed fare — Florence, Naples and the others — only the Economy+ fare is published: you will find it on the fares page, with the conditions in full.
What is included with every vehicle
Whatever the category, the service is the same: a professional driver, a dedicated vehicle and a pick-up time fixed in advance. The items below apply to all the published fares and match those on the fares page and in the Terms and Conditions.
- Driver and vehicle in the chosen category, with fuel and tolls on the route included.
- Water on board and air conditioning in every vehicle; the Electric is zero-emission.
- Child seats on request, to be stated in the booking.
- Waiting time included, up to one hour after landing or disembarkation; you are met at arrivals.
- Payment and cancellation: in cash to the driver or online by card; free cancellation up to 24 hours before the pick-up time.
- 24/7 assistance before, during and after the journey.
Passengers and luggage are all it takes: the form shows the compatible categories and the total before you confirm.
Frequently asked questions about the fleet
Which vehicle do we need for four people?
The Minivan. Economy+, Business, Electric and Executive carry up to three passengers; the Mercedes V-Class Minivan seats up to eight. When you enter more than three people, the booking form offers only this category.
Can I choose the exact model?
No. You choose the category, not the model. The vehicles listed are reference models, or similar; the actual vehicle is confirmed at time of booking.
How much luggage fits in each vehicle?
Up to two large suitcases in Economy+, Business and Electric, with at most one piece of hand luggage per person in the Economy+; six or more in the Minivan. For the Executive the capacity is confirmed with your quote.
Does the Executive have a fixed fare?
No. The Executive is always on request, even on the transfer routes that have a published fare for the other categories, and it is not part of the automatic group builder: write to us with the date, the route and the number of people.
We are more than eight people: how does that work?
With several vehicles in a single request: one Minivan and one car for nine people, for example, or three Minivans for twenty. The form proposes the combination for the number of passengers you enter.
